The collection of Casa di Goethe

Casa di Goethe Rome has a collection that is regulary widened by financial support of the Federal Government and other donators. It focuses on the Goethe and his work, German artists in Italy, the history of illustration, journeys to Italy and Italian landscapes.
The collection comprises graphic works, drawings, paintings, autographs, sculputres, installations, books.
The objects are used for the permanent exhibition "Goethe in Italy" and for the temporary exhibits curated by the museum.
